Human Genome Sciences (HGSI) announced after the close Monday that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of up to 12,500,000 shares of its common stock. The stock is now down 1.12 on 215K shares.
Human Genome Sciences climbed during the final 90 minutes of trade Monday and finished up by 0.71 at $27.82. The stock closed near the middle of a one-month trading range.
