Compass Efficient Model Portfolios announced that Robert Walker, Jr. has joined the company as President.
The company stated that Walker's 20-year career began in commercial banking with Regions Financial (RF) and investment banking on Wall Street with Merrill Lynch & Co., which is now part of Bank of America (BAC).
He held several senior operating and financial positions with WebMD/Emdeon (HLTH), KPAC Solutions and Caris Diagnostics and most recently, Walker managed Hothead Partners, a management consulting company offering advisory services in strategic planning, capital raising and business growth initiatives, the company said.
