Fluor Corp. (FLR) announced after the bell Wednesday that the Utah Department of Transportation selected Provo River Constructors, a Fluor-led joint venture, as the team with the best fixed-price, best-design proposal for the expansion of the I-15 Corridor Reconstruction project. Fluor is now up 0.54 on 18K shares.
Fluor Corp. dipped slightly early Wednesday, but was range-bound for the majority of the session. Shares finished down by 0.19 at $40.61. The stock has been losing ground for the last 2 1/2 weeks and closed at a 7-month low.
