Regus plc (RGU.L) said that Douglas Sutherland will become non-executive chairman of the company with effect from 18 May 2010. Douglas joined the board of Regus in August 2008 as a non-executive Director and has served as chairman of the audit committee.
John Matthews, who has served on the Regus holding company Board since 1995 as a non-executive director and as non-executive chairman from 2002, will retire from the Board with effect from 18 May 2010. Additionally, Martin Robinson, Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee will retire from the Board at the same time.
