It is also said that Sydney and Taiwan airports enhanced security on flights to the U.S. after yesterday's incident. According to reports, India had also previously instituted security measures in light of festival season.
In a statement issued Saturday morning, Air Canada (AC_A.TO) adviced passengers travelling to the U.S. to arrive early at airports to allow extra time to clear security screening, due to enhanced government security measures air travellers.
WestJet Airline Ltd. (WJA.TO) also announced that all guests on flights bound to the United States will be subject to a secondary search.
