Mediacom Communications Corp. (MCCC) said Thursday that it has entered into an 8-day extension of its current retransmission consent agreement with Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (SBGI) that was scheduled to expire at midnight today. Terms of the extension were not disclosed.
Mediacom said its good faith complaint against Sinclair continues to be pending before the FCC, and that Sinclair's behavior during the extension period will be considered as part of the totality of the circumstances considered by Commission.
