Packaging Corp. of America (PKG) posted gains during the first half hour of trade Friday and advanced further in the final 90 minutes of the afternoon. The stock closed higher by $1.55 at $24.95 on above average volume.
Packaging Corp. of America rose above a 2 1/2 week trading range Friday and closed at a new high for the year.
