State Street Corp. (STT) reported fourth quarter net income available to common shareholders of $1.00 per share Wednesday morning, compared to the $0.54 per share in the prior year period. Earnings on an operating basis came in at $0.99 per share, compared to $1.58 last year.
State Street gapped up slightly Wednesday and has continued to rise. Shares are now higher by 2.34 at $45.54. The stock has risen above a one-month range and has set nearly a 3-month high.
