Allegiant Travel Co. (ALGT) reported fourth quarter net income of $0.52 per share after the close Monday, down from the $0.88 per share posted last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.48.
Allegiant Travel gapped up Tuesday and has continued to rise steadily. Shares are currently higher by 2.15 at $53.14. The stock has been gaining ground since late December and has climbed to over an 8 1/2 month high.
