Wednesday, Regis Corp. (RGS) said its second-quarter net income was $18.15 million or $0.30 per share compared with a loss of $143.25 million or $3.34 per share in the prior year period.
Net income per share from operations, adjusted for the quarter was $0.280 compared with $0.367 in the year-ago period. On average, 11 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.26 per share for the quarter.
Revenues for the quarter declined to $575.36 million from $587.42 million in the comparable period. Eight analysts estimated revenues of $576.97 million for the quarter.
