Arkansas Best Corp (ABFS) reported fourth quarter net loss attributable to Arkansas Best of $88.72 million or $3.54 per share, compared to net loss attributable to Arkansas Best of $10.97 million or $0.44 per share last year.
Excluding charges, Arkansas Best posted net loss of $22.1 million, or $0.88 per share, compared to a net loss of $11.0 million, or $0.44 per share, in the fourth quarter of 2008.

Operating revenues declined to $371.63 million from $391.21 million in the same quarter a year earlier.
