Jones Apparel Group, Inc. (JNY) said it appointed Richard Dickson as President and Chief Executive Officer - Branded Businesses of Jones Apparel Group, effective February 8, 2010. The company noted that concurrent with the appointment, Wesley Card's title will change from President and CEO to CEO. Dickson will be responsible for management of the company's wholesale and retail businesses worldwide reporting to Card.
Most recently, Dickson was in charge of Barbie brand globally, as General Manager and Senior Vice President, Barbie at Mattel.
