Aberdeen Asset Management Plc (ADN.L) announced the completion of its acquisition of certain assets and contracts from RBS and entered into the long-term distribution agreement with RBS Wealth Management.
Also, the company paid consideration of £84.7 million for assets under management of £13.5 billion, as at 30 September 2009, comprising an established, award-winning funds of hedge funds business, a long-only multi-manager business and certain private equity and real estate funds of funds.
Further, Aberdeen noted that the management and staff of the acquired business would transfer to Aberdeen's offices in mid-February.
