Avery Dennison Corp. (AVY) reported fourth quarter EPS of $0.44 Friday morning, which fell short of the consensus estimate of $0.68.
Avery Dennison Corp. gapped open sharply lower Friday and fell in early trade. Shares declined further around the middle of the afternoon and closed down by $5.59 at $32.51 on the highest volume of the year. The stock dropped to a 4 1/2 month low.
