Cablevision Systems Corporation (CVC) announced that it has appointed Charles Schueler as executive vice president, communications and community relations.
Schueler previously served as senior vice president, media and community relations. During this period, Schueler successfully led communications activities during key strategic moments for the company including the acquisitions of Newsday Media Group, Sundance Channel, and two entertainment venues - the Beacon Theatre and The Chicago Theatre. Schueler joined Cablevision in 1988 as director of public affairs for its former Boston cable system. Moving to New York in 1994, he became vice president, community affairs, in Cablevision's corporate communications group, and in the followingyear.
