Standard & Poor's, a subsidiary of The McGraw-Hill Companies (MHP), said that Tessera Technologies Inc. (TSRA) will replace Financial Federal Corp. (FIF) in the S&P SmallCap 600 index after the close of trading on February 18. Financial Federal is being acquired by S&P 500 constituent People's United Financial Inc. (PBCT) in a deal expected to close on or about that date, pending final approvals.
