Taiga Building Products Ltd. (TBL.TO) reported third quarter net earnings of C$941 thousand or C$0.03 per share, compared to a loss C$2.62 million or C$0.08 per share in the previous year.
Earnings improvements were attributable to continuation of cost reduction programs, foreign exchange gains, and lower interest expense, the company stated.
Sales for the quarter declined to C$201.12 million from C$213.8 million in the year-ago quarter.
