Singapore's non-oil domestic exports or NODX grew 21% year-on-year in January, slowing from the 26% increase in the previous month, a report from International Enterprise Singapore showed on Wednesday. Economists were looking for a 35% rise.
Electronics NODX surged 23% on a yearly basis in January, after the 25% rise in the previous month. Economists had forecast electronics NODX to climb 39%.
On a monthly basis, NODX fell a seasonally adjusted 8.9%, reversing the previous month's 4.2% increase.
