The Australian dollar extended its previous session uptrend against the Canadian dollar in New York afternoon deals on Tuesday. At 4:15 pm ET, the Aussie climbed to a 1-week high of 0.9386 versus the loonie, compared to Monday's New York session close of 0.9344. The next upside target level for the Australian currency is seen at 0.9391.
