Pakistan's consumer prices rose 13.04% year-on-year in February, slightly slower than January's 13.68% increase, the Federal Bureau of Statistics said Thursday. The CPI rose 0.39% on a monthly basis.
In February, food and beverages were 14.93% expensive followed by prices of fuel and lighting, which rose 17.17%. Costs for eduction were up 12.93%.
The wholesale price index rose 0.36% month-on-month to take the annual rise to 19.29%.
