Friday, Arena Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ARNA) said its fourth-quarter net loss allocable to common stockholders narrowed to $29.8 million, or $0.32 per share from $62.5 million or $0.84 per share in the prior year period. On average, 16 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report loss of $0.31 per share for the quarter.
Total revenues for the quarter was $2.68 million compared with $2.69 million in the comparable period. Seventeen analysts estimated revenues of $3.45 million for the quarter.
