IT services provider HCL Technologies on Thursday announced a strategic partnership with U.S.-based software solution provider Wellogic to provide interoperability and health records management solutions to the global healthcare market.
The partnership enables customer organizations leverage Wellogic's innovative solutions along with HCL's healthcare technology resources.
Wellogic will leverage HCL's comprehensive global sales, professional services, and cloud computing resources to help clients adopt and operate Wellogic's market-leading health information exchange, electronic health record and personal health record solutions.
"With this new partnership, HCL with further strengthen its healthcare service offerings in the U.S., India, and other global markets," said Pradep Nair, Senior Vice President - Healthcare, HCL.
Wellogic has created revolutionary software technology to enable cost-effective large-scale adoption of modern medical records management and interoperability solutions and this partnership represents a key milestone in HCL's delivery of high-value solutions and bundled services offering worldwide, he added.

On the BSE, shares of HCL Technologies are now trading at Rs.378, down 1.05% on a volume of 0.40 lakh shares, while the benchmark 30-share Sensex is down 30 points or 0.17%.
