MF Global Holdings Board Appoints Jon Corzine As Chairman, CEO - Quick Facts

MF Global Holdings Ltd. (MF) announced that its Board has appointed Jon Corzine as chairman and chief executive officer, effective immediately.

Corzine served as governor of the state of New Jersey from 2006 to 2010, and in the United States Senate from 2001 to 2006. Prior to entering public service, Corzine was chairman and senior partner of Goldman Sachs, where he served for 24 years.

Bernard Dan has resigned from the company as CEO and as a director for personal reasons. Bernard Dan will remain with the company through May 16, 2010, in an interim capacity to facilitate the smooth transition of duties to Corzine.

The company also said, Alison Carnwath will be retiring from the board at its next shareholders' meeting in August 2010.

MF Global also stated that the company believes its net revenues for the fourth quarter will be in the range of $235 million to $245 million.
