Transocean Ltd. (RIG) gapped open lower Thursday and fell in the first 45 minutes of trade. The stock slipped further in the early portion of the afternoon and closed down by $4.85 at $58.01.
Transocean Ltd. has been declining steadily for the past month on increased volume. The stock closed Thursday at a new low for the year.
