Range Resources Corp. (RRC) reported second quarter non-GAAP net income of $0.09 per share after the close Monday, down from $0.21 per share last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.11.
Range Resources gapped down Tuesday and declined steadily in the first 45 minutes of trade. Shares finished lower by 2.80 at $37.24 on the highest volume of the year. The stock dropped below a one-month range and set a new low for the year.
