Monsanto Co. (MON) announced Tuesday morning that it now expects to report ongoing EPS of $2.40 to $2.45 for the full year 2010. Prior guidance had been for EPS of $2.40 to $2.60. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $2.49.
Monsanto Co. gapped open lower Tuesday and has continued to fall in early trade on above average volume. The stock is now down 3.12 at $52.78. Monsanto has dropped to a month and a half low and has also fallen below its 50-day moving average.
