Parametric Technology Corp. (PMTC) announced Monday the appointment of former Arivana Inc.'s finance chief Jeffrey Glidden as its executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective September 27, 2010.
Jeffrey Glidden replaces Neil Moses in the roles. Moses, who has served Parametric since 2003, is leaving the company on November 15, 2010.
Glidden, most recently, was the vice president and CFO of mobile broadband company Airvana Inc. He joined Airvana in 2005. Before that, Glidden served as the Senior Vice President and CFO of RSA Security.
Commenting on the appointment, James Heppelmann, CEO-elect and president of PTC stated, "Jeff's strong financial and operational background, along with his collaborative style and profitable growth-oriented outlook, will be a valuable asset for PTC as we focus on delivering sustainable EPS growth driven primarily by organic revenue growth."
PTC provides mechanical computer-aided design, manufacturing and engineering software and related solutions to Aerospace/Defense, Automotive, Retail/Consumer and Life Sciences industries.
PMTC is currently trading at $19.10, up $0.36 or 1.92%, on the Nasdaq.
