Italian consumer confidence index rose to 108.5 in November from 107.7 in October, economic think tank ISAE said Tuesday. Economists had forecast a slight decline to 107.4. Consumer sentiment rose for the third consecutive month.
Households' assessment of the general economic situation decreased in November, with the corresponding indicator falling to 80.6 from 81.3. Meanwhile, their expectations remained unchanged and the indicator stayed at 97.
Households view about the current economic situation increased in the month. The related indicator climbed to 115.7 from 114.7 in October.
