CIGNA Corp. (CI) Monday said it appointed Mark Boxer as Chief Information Officer. In the new position, Mark would lead CIGNA's global technology strategy. Boxer succeeds Philip Emond, who is retiring from the company.
Most recently, Boxer was the Group President, Government Health Care for ACS/Xerox and Global Deputy Chief Information Officer for Xerox Corporation. He also has served as the Chief Information Officer at WellPoint, and in a variety of other IT executive roles.
