AMEC plc (AMEC.L) said it has completed the acquisition of MACTEC. As previously announced, the cash consideration was $280 million.
AMEC noted that a small MACTEC subsidiary, MACTEC Development Corp., will be run as a standalone entity, with its existing management, until final regulatory approval is obtained from the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission. This is expected in due course.
