Fisher Communications Inc. (FSCI) announced that it has signed an agreement to affiliate with The CW Television Network in the Boise, Idaho television market. Starting no later than September 12, 2011, Fisher will broadcast The CW Television Network on KBOI-DT2 and simulcast on KYUU-LP.
In a separate press release, Fisher Communications announced that its board has elected Paul Bible, an independent director since 2009, as non-executive Chairman of the Board, effective immediately.
Bible has significant experience in corporate governance and compliance matters. He currently serves as a non-director member of the independent governance committee of AMERCO, the publicly-traded parent company of U-Haul International Inc.
