Baidu, Inc. (BIDU) is gaining over 2% to $146.80 based on reports that Microsoft Corp.'s (MSFT) Bing search engine will provide English-language search results for Baidu. Microsoft is up 0.42% to $26.13.
Immucor Inc. (BLUD) is jumping 31% to $27.32 as it agreed to be acquired by investment funds managed by TPG Capital in a transaction with a fully diluted equity value of $1.973 billion.
Southern Union Co. (SUG) is gaining over 2% to $41.35 Energy Transfer Equity, L.P. (ETE) agreed to acquire the company in an amended and restated merger deal worth $8.9 billion. Both companies originally entered into a deal on June 16, under which Energy Transfer offered $33 per share or $7.9 billion in total, including $3.7 billion debt.
Zalicus Inc. (ZLCS) is rising over 13% to $2.64 in pre-market trading. TransGlobe Energy Corp. (TGA) is up 11% to $12.86.
