Autoliv Inc. (ALV) announced Friday morning that the DOJ and EC investigations into its subsidiary, Autoliv ASP Inc., are still ongoing. The company also stated that it is likely that, for the reporting periods in which the related liabilities become estimable or the investigations are resolved, the Company's operating results and cash flows will be materially impacted.
Autoliv Inc. gapped open sharply lower Friday and slipped further around midday. The stock took out the lows of the session going into the close and finished down by 8.63 at $71.14 on the highest volume of the year. Autoliv fell to a 2 1/2 week low and dropped below both its 50 and 200-day moving averages.
