GKN plc (GKN.L) on Thursday announced the appointment of Michael Turner as Chairman of the company to succeed Roy Brown, who retires as Chairman and from the Board, at the close of the company's annual general meeting on May 3, 2012.
Mike Turner joined the GKN Board in September 2009 as a non-executive Director and was appointed Senior Independent Director in May 2010. He is a former Chief Executive of BAE Systems plc and is currently Chairman of Babcock International Group plc. He is also a non-executive Director of Lazard Ltd.
