Shares of KEMET Corp. (KEM) slipped more than 4% in after hours trading after the manufacturer of tantalum, ceramic, aluminum, film, paper and electrolytic capacitors said that it expects its third fiscal quarter results to be below its prior outlook due to softening demand in its European and Asian markets as well as continued distribution inventory rebalancing.
CVR Energy Inc (CVI) shares gained more than 3% in extended hours trading. Billionaire investor Carl Icahn and his affiliates said earlier Friday that they have picked up a 14.54% stake in the Sugar land, Texas-based oil and gas refining and marketing company.
