Bemis Company (BMS) reported fourth quarter adjusted EPS of $0.45 Wednesday morning, compared to $0.49 in the prior year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.40. Full year 2012 adjusted EPS is expected to be between $2.05 and $2.20, compared to the consensus estimate of $2.16.
Bemis has spiked sharply to the upside in early trade Wednesday and is currently higher by 1.60 at $31.59. The stock has risen to a 3-month high and has re-crossed its 200-day moving average.
