CEPHEID (CPHD) reported fourth quarter non-GAAP net income of $0.14 per share after the close Thursday, up from $0.09 per share in the previous year. Full year 2012 non-GAAP EPS is expected to be between $0.55 and $0.60.
CEPHEID gapped open sharply higher Friday and climbed gradually higher during the afternoon. The stock ended the session higher by 8.79 at $43.14 on the highest volume of the year. CEPHEID surged past resistance Friday and set a new high for the year.
