Shares of Polypore International Inc. (PPO) steadily declined until around 3:00PM Tuesday. The stock ended the session lower by 16.26 at $38.08 on the highest volume of the year.
Polypore International sank beneath support Tuesday and set a new low for the year. The company issued a statement around the middle of the afternoon which said it "remains confident in the premises used to justify the lithium battery separator capacity expansions associated with accelerating industry demand for electric drive vehicles."
