Broadcom Corp. (BRCM) reported fourth quarter non-GAAP net income of $0.68 per share after the close Tuesday, down from $0.83 per share in the prior year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.65.
Broadcom gapped open higher Wednesday and rose throughout the first half of the morning. Shares finished up by 2.78 at $37.13, with volume at a 9-month high. The stock climbed above nearly a 2-week range and set a 3-month high.
