Cerner Corp. (CERN) reported fourth quarter adjusted EPS of $0.55 after the close Tuesday, compared to $0.44 in the previous year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.53. The company expects to report first quarter adjusted EPS of $0.48 to $0.50 and between $2.20 and $2.30 for the full year 2012. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.49 and $2.25.
Cerner gapped open sharply higher Wednesday and is now up 6.58 at $69.15 in early trade. The stock has risen to a 3 1/2 month high.
