Lorillard Inc. (LO) reported fourth quarter adjusted net income of $2.20 per share Thursday morning, up from $1.74 per share in the prior year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $1.95.
Lorillard gapped up sharply Thursday and has continued to rise in early trade. The stock is currently higher by 7.60 at $120.96. Lorillard has broken out past resistance this morning and has set a new high for the year.
