ArthroCare Corp. (ARTC) reported a fourth quarter net loss of $1.06 per share after the bell Thursday, compared to the profit of $0.30 per share in the previous year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.20.
ArthroCare gapped open sharply lower Friday, but traded in a range for the majority of the session. The stock closed down by 5.77 at $25.00 on the highest volume of the year. ArthroCare sank beneath support and set a new low for the year.
