Milliken & Co. announced that it has acquired certain fiber reinforced core-related assets of Webcore Technologies, LLC of Miamisburg, OH.
WebCore Technologies is the creator of a patented core material known as TYCOR, which is used in a variety of applications in wind energy, transportation as well as other infrastructure markets.
Milliken said that it plans to continue development and marketing of the TYCOR product line, build upon TYCOR's success in wind energy, and expand the product's availability globally.
