Sourcefire Inc. (FIRE) reported fourth quarter adjusted net income of $0.25 per share after the bell Tuesday, up from $0.17 per share last year. First quarter adjusted EPS is expected to be between $0.06 and $0.08.
Sourcefire has gapped open sharply higher Wednesday morning and is now up 5.98 at $41.80 on above average volume. The stock has surged past the upper end of a one-week range and has set a new high for the year.
