Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. reported a fourth-quarter stand-alone net loss of Rs.2,710.32 crore, compared with a net profit of of Rs.55.23 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010. Total income increased to Rs.4,007.31 crore from the Rs.1,535.41 crore in the corresponding quarter of the preceding year.
On a consolidated basis, the company posted a fourth-quarter net loss of Rs.2,982.77 crore, compared with a net loss of Rs.97.48 crore in Q4FY11. Total income rose to Rs.3,955.47 crore from the Rs.2,222.82 crore in the year-ago quarter.
At the BSE, Ranbaxy Laboratories shares are currently trading Rs.438.65, down by 0.05 percent from the previous close.
