Quest Software Inc. (QSFT) agreed Friday to be taken private by Insight Venture Partners for $23.00 per share in an all-cash deal that values the company at about $2.0 billion.
Quest Software gapped open dramatically higher Friday, but traded in a narrow range throughout the session. Shares finished up by 4.67 at $24.07 on the highest volume of the year. The stock jumped to a 10-month high.
