Alliant Techsystems Inc. (ATK) announced Tuesday morning that it continues to expect full year 2012 EPS to be between $7.65 and $7.75, which is below the consensus estimate of $7.79. Full year 2013 EPS is expected to come in between $6.00 and $6.30, compared to the consensus estimate of $7.17.
Alliant Techsystems gapped open lower Tuesday and declined during the first half of the morning. Shares finished down by 3.58 at $54.03, with volume at a 9-month high. The stock closed testing support, trading at nearly a 3-month low.
