Collective Brands Inc. (PSS) gapped open sharply higher Thursday, but traded in a range for the majority of the session. The stock closed up by 1.55 at $19.99 on the highest volume in 4 months.
Collective Brands rose above over a month and a half long range Thursday and closed at a 10 1/2 month high. There were unconfirmed reports that E-Land Group is planning to make a takeover bid for the company.
