Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVS) gapped open lower Monday, but climbed steadily until the middle of the afternoon. The stock closed up by 1.86 at $60.62 on above average volume.
Las Vegas Sands rose past the upper end of a 3-week trading range Monday and closed at a new high for the year.
