VeriSign Inc. (VRSN) climbed until mid-morning Friday and extended its gains in the final hour of trade. The stock closed higher by 0.98 at $40.67, with volume at a 5-month high.
VeriSign has been rising for the past week and closed Friday at a new high for the year.
